Purpose
FACC AG (hereinafter referred to as "FACC") processes the personal data you have provided (title, first name, surname, email address, telephone number) for the purpose of sending press information (e.g. press releases or product information). Any additional information you provide voluntarily will be processed in order to supply you with targeted content, e.g. by transmitting information of special relevance to you and subdivided into categories such as business, company news or product information.
You can view, change, supplement or delete the information you have provided voluntarily at any time by contacting FACC (see contact details above).

Furthermore, we measure the performance of press releases by processing information on the number of times press releases are accessed (yes/no) ("access rate") and on the technical deliverability of press releases ("bounces", e.g. undeliverability due to an incorrect email address). This data is generated by the system.

Legal basis
Your email address is processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to section 107 of the Telecommunications Act (TKG). You have the right to revoke your consent free of charge at any time. Revocation of your consent, however, does not affect the legality of any processing performed on the basis of your consent prior to the revocation. To withdraw your consent, please click on the unsubscribe link in the relevant press release or contact FACC (see above for contact details).
The processing of data you have voluntarily provided and the collection of data for the purpose of performance measurement are grounded on the legitimate interests of FACC (information/marketing purposes) pursuant to article 6 paragraph 1lit f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
After unsubscribing from the press mailing list, FACC will continue to store your declaration of consent. The legitimate interests of FACC in this respect consist in the necessary documentation of the consent you have given for evidence purposes.
You disclose your data to FACC on a voluntary basis, without any legal or contractual obligation. However, we are required to process your email address in order to send you press releases. If you do not provide your email address, FACC cannot send you any press information. Failure to provide "voluntary information" means that we cannot provide you with targeted content, but we will of course still send you press releases.

Storage / deletion
Your unsubscription from press releases will be recorded in the mailing list database automatically. This means that you will not receive any further press information from the moment you unsubscribe. Your data will be permanently deleted within one month from the day of unsubscription unless prohibited under statutory storage obligations or unless we require the data on a case-by-case basis to defend legal claims.

For further details on storage and deletion periods, please refer to FACC's general data protection statement at https://www.facc.com/data-privacy.

Legal remedies
You have the right to request the rectification, deletion, restriction and portability of, and access to, your data, and are entitled to object to the processing of your data. To exercise the above rights, please contact FACC (see above for contact details).
If you suspect that your personal data is being processed in violation of applicable legal regulations, please do not hesitate to inform us of any concerns you may have. In such cases, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority.

Processing of non-personal data
Our web server collects protocol data every time you visit our website or activate a file (e.g. type of browser, date and time of activation). This is not personal data. It is therefore not possible for us to assign the collected data to a specific natural person.

All data is evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes. The data is not passed on to third parties. We do not link this data with other data. Moreover, the data is regularly deleted after statistical evaluation.
